As a candidate for the title of European Capital of Culture, it was an opportunity for Bastia Corsica to reaffirm the role of art and culture in individual and collective emancipation.
Work began on a strategy to involve marginalised and disadvantaged groups in the project - older people, members of the LGBTIQ+ community, people with disabilities or reduced mobility.
True to this ambition, we are now responding to the Europe Direct Centre's request to co-organise a screening-debate in the framework of the International Day against LGBTIphobia.
The film Feu Follet by director Joao Pedro Rodrigues will be followed by a debate with Alexandre Oppecini, actor and director; Audrey Royer, editor of Podcastu Sexistu and members of the association L'Arcu.
